Alex Marchetti, son of loyal Frank Advocate Virginia Marchetti, makes quite an impression. A member of “From the Heart”, a knitting group with over 400 members throughout Virginia, has had the pleasure of watching Alex grow up and decided that the Kirov orphanage where Alex once resided could benefit from the groups’ skills. “From the Heart” has knitted socks, baby hats, sweaters, and vests for the children at the Kirov orphanage.
    The group utilizes donated yarn and donates to various local charities. Last year, they donated over 300 items to Russian orphanages through a group called “Children in Common”.
    We extend a special thanks to Virginia Marchetti for speaking at a “From the Heart” meeting about the Frank Foundation and to Lois Moore, the group’s creator, and all the “From the Heart” knitters. They truly demonstrate channeling one’s talents towards a greater, noble cause.
