Kazakhstan
For over a decade, Frank Foundation Child Assistance International (FFCAI) has had the privilege of working with the government and people of Kazakhstan on humanitarian and child advocacy programs throughout the country. Educational study tours, medical intervention programs, donation drives and adoptions – these are some of the specific initiatives FFCAI has successfully launched with the support of both the public and private sector in the US, Kazakhstan and the greater international community.
Since 1995, FFCAI has maintained representative offices in both Astana and Almaty. Recognized through registration with the Ministry of Justice, FFCAI has prided itself in developing and sustaining some of the most viable grassroots efforts and capacity building programs to benefit disadvantaged children and society at large.
Programs include cultural initiatives with regional and federal authorities (including sponsorship of the 1999 Presidential Yolka (Christmas Tree Festival) under the tutelage of President Nassarbayev, partnership programs with the Kazakh Embassy in Washington, DC and multiple overseas cultural exchanges for orphans and talented disadvantaged youth), educational opportunities for students including scholarships for older orphans, medical programs benefiting disadvantaged sick children and other massive donation drives for multiple orphanages, renovations efforts.
Frank Foundation is pleased to continue its tradition of commitment to the children of Kazakhstan.
