The Board of Directors of Frank Foundation Child Assistance International initiated a fundraising endeavor in order to award academic scholarships to ten orphans, who were recently admitted to colleges in Eastern Kazakhstan. On February 3, 2006, Nina Kostina awarded each of the ten students with a one-time scholarship of 40,000 tenge. The award ceremony was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, in the Akimat of East-Kazakhstan region.
