Dr. Nina Kostina was invited by long time friend and mission advocate, Nobel Peace Laureate, Betty Williams, to speak at the conference attended by 5 Female Nobel Peace Laureates and distinguished global leaders in both the public and private sectors. A main focus of the conference was to support European NGOs to become more active in lobbying governments for more favorable rights for children and women. Dr. Kostina’s moving presentation on the Beslan tragedy was notably a highlight during the conference. She reported on the continuous work of Frank Foundation and Frank Kinderhilfe and the Zentrum in the Northern Ossetia region and solicited the support of the strong women present to join forces with our organization to support the children of the region. Dr. Kostina was honored to be invited by the Gorbachev Foundation Italia to return to Italy in November for the Nobel Peace Laureate Summit to give her stirring presentation to the presidium.
